The Columbus Aviators have officially revealed their themed home game schedule for the 2026 season, offering fans a mix of promotional giveaways, community-focused events, and prime matchups at home in Columbus. The announcement, shared via the OHIO Podcast, outlines five home contests beginning in early April and running through the end of May.
The season opens April 3 with a “614 Kickoff Game” against the D.C. Defenders. The Friday night matchup, scheduled for an 8 p.m. start, will include a commemorative T-shirt giveaway, setting the tone for what the organization hopes will be a strong turnout to launch the campaign. Season ticket holders will receive access to all five home games, and team representatives indicate demand has already been strong.
Two weeks later, the Aviators host the Dallas Renegades for a second Friday night contest themed “United by Giving.” Fans arriving early will receive a flag giveaway designed to energize the stadium atmosphere and create a visually striking environment for the broadcast.
On May 1, Columbus welcomes the Houston Gamblers for “School Spirit Takes Flight” night. The event encourages fans to wear school colors or jerseys while offering a bobblehead giveaway that could potentially feature head coach Ted Ginn Jr., a figure who has quickly become a recognizable face of the franchise.
Following a pair of road games, the Aviators return home May 23 for a Saturday afternoon “Hats Off to Heroes” matchup against the Birmingham Stallions. Fans attending that game will receive a complimentary team hat as part of the tribute-style promotion.
The regular-season home slate concludes May 31 with a Sunday evening “Kids Takeover” event versus the Louisville Kings. Another bobblehead giveaway is planned, along with family-friendly activities expected to engage younger fans and create a festive closing atmosphere.
