About Us - The Ohio Podcast

The OHIO Podcast is a sports media company owned and operated by Ohio State fans, designed for Ohio State fans. Our main objective is to entertain you through commentary, news and rumor reaction, as well as content creation. What makes us different than others are the fact that we are not owned by a corporation in some other city not in Ohio. We are just like you. The majority of our clothes are scarlet and gray and we live, eat, and breath Ohio State. Our promise to you has remained the same since the first day we turned our microphones on for the first time: to be honest and speak the truth from a fans perspective.

History - Timeline of The OHIO Podcast

2019 - Started Audio Podcasting in March.
2019 - Hosted first LIVE show on location at The Ohio State Store N' Lots More in Marion, Ohio in December.
2020 - Chris Wilds joined the show in June.
2021 - Hosted first LIVE show out of state in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania with the Ohio State Alumni Club of Pittsburgh in September.
2023 - Shifted podcast from audio only to video in January.
2023 - Became the official Ohio State Podcast of Scarlet & Game of FanSided in March.
2024 - Launched Call-In Show in March.
2024 - Launched official website in March.
2024 - Joined The College Huddle in April.
2024 - Launched official online store in April.

Here at The OHIO Podcast, we feel being a part of a community is a critical aspect of participation within a fanbase. We understand that you can choose to be a part of multiple communities within Buckeye Nation that are available, and are flattered that you have either decided to, or are considering, being a part of our community. Like any community, there is a wide range of diversity, and we ask that you respect the fact that all of us come from different backgrounds with different beliefs. What makes being a Buckeye fan great is that no matter what your political, religious, or other beliefs might be, when someone yells, “O-H,” you know how to answer back. So, let’s make our community great and respect one another. Unless you are a TTUN fan, in which we say, you are not welcomed in this community and we have no respect for you.
