Ohio State once again leads the nation in producing elite NFL talent, with 15 Buckeye draft prospects earning invitations to the 2025 NFL Scouting Combine. This impressive group is headlined by standout offensive tackle Josh Simmons and dynamic wide receiver Emeka Egbuka, both of whom are projected to make a significant impact at the next level.
Joining them in Indianapolis are quarterback Will Howard, explosive running backs TreVeyon Henderson and Quinshon Judkins, offensive linemen Donovan Jackson and Seth McLaughlin, dominant edge rushers Jack Sawyer and JT Tuimoloau, interior defensive linemen Tyleik Williams and Ty Hamilton, linebacker Cody Simon, and a formidable secondary trio of Denzel Burke, Jordan Hancock, and Lathan Ransom.
Ohio State’s 15 combine participants are the most of any program this year, reaffirming the Buckeyes’ status as one of the premier pipelines to the NFL. Georgia and Texas follow closely with 14 invitees, while other top programs such as Oregon (13), Ole Miss and South Carolina (11), Alabama and Miami (10), Michigan (9), and Notre Dame and LSU (8) trail behind.

If all 15 Buckeyes hear their names called on draft weekend, Ohio State would match the record for the most players selected in a single seven-round NFL draft—an achievement currently held by Georgia, which set the mark in 2022. The 2025 NFL Scouting Combine will take place from February 24 to March 3, with televised coverage beginning on February 27 on NFL Network and NFL+.
The event will showcase the top prospects in a series of drills and evaluations, with different position groups scheduled to take the field on specific days. Defensive linemen and linebackers will be the first to participate in on-field workouts on February 27 at 3 p.m., followed by defensive backs and tight ends on February 28 at 3 p.m. Quarterbacks, wide receivers, and running backs will showcase their skills on March 1 at 1 p.m., while offensive linemen will close out the event on March 2 at 1 p.m.
With another strong class heading to the NFL, Ohio State continues to set the standard for excellence, proving once again that Columbus is a breeding ground for the next generation of football stars.
