With Ohio State having one game and one win in the books, it’s time they turn their full attention to Week Two’s opponent, Western Michigan. The Broncos stunned the college football world last week when they had Big Ten neighbor Wisconsin on the ropes on Friday night. Although the Badgers managed to pull out the victory, it’s clear that Western Michigan is going to be a step up from what the Buckeyes witnessed in Week One, where they dominated Akron 52-6.
This week’s focus for Ohio State is all about The Next Step.
That’s the title of Ohio State’s second Game Trailer of the 2024 season, and it’s also the mentality the Buckeyes will carry into their Week 2 showdown against Western Michigan this Saturday at the Shoe.
“We got goals, man. We got all these things that we’re thinking about. They’re standing in our way of what we want to get to, man,” said Ohio State quarterback Will Howard in the trailer.
Western Michigan stands in the way. After that, it’s Marshall, Michigan State, Iowa — and so on.
