Ohio State will tip off the 2024-25 basketball season on Monday, November 4, against the Texas Longhorns in the Hall of Fame Series at T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas. Tickets for the game are now on sale.
Fans can purchase tickets from the Hall of Fame ticketing website. Prices range from $36 plus taxes and fees for seats behind the hoops to $97 plus taxes and fees for seats around midcourt. All tickets are for the lower bowl, as the upper deck will be closed.
Last season, the Longhorns had a record of 21-13 and reached the second round of the NCAA Tournament before losing to second-seeded Tennessee.
Ohio State is looking to rebound from missing the NCAA Tournament for the second straight year. This will be the first full season under head coach Jake Diebler, who took over as interim head coach on February 14 after Chris Holtmann was fired and then was named the full-time head coach on March 17.
This game will be just the second meeting between Texas and Ohio State in men’s basketball. In their only previous matchup, the Buckeyes won 71-65 in the second round of the NIT in Columbus, Ohio, on March 17, 1986.
