One of Ohio’s Top Recruits Announces Official Visit Dates
One of Ohio State’s premier offensive line targets in the 2026 recruiting class has locked in his official visit schedule.
Four-star Ohio native Adam Guthrie announced on Thursday that he will take three official visits this summer: Clemson on May 31, Ohio State on June 6, and Penn State on June 13.
Guthrie has been a frequent visitor to Columbus over the past year, securing an offer from the Buckeyes in October. The significance of that moment was not lost on him.
“It felt good being a hometown kid, obviously,” Guthrie told Eleven Warriors in October. “It was great to be offered by such a high-level program. (Coach Frye) said he wanted to offer me based on how I play and the scheme that they run.”
Currently, Clemson is considered the leader in Guthrie’s recruitment, but Ohio State’s new offensive line coach, Tyler Bowen, along with the rest of the Buckeyes’ offensive staff, will have ample opportunity to make a strong impression during his June visit. With their track record of developing top-tier offensive linemen and competing for national championships, Ohio State will look to sway Guthrie and keep this talented prospect in his home state.

Five-Star WR Ethan “Boobie” Feaster Reclassifies to 2026, Names Top 12
A top priority for Ohio State’s 2026 recruiting class, five-star wide receiver Ethan “Boobie” Feaster, has reclassified from the 2027 class and narrowed his recruitment down to 12 programs.
Feaster’s top 12 consists of Ohio State, Texas A&M, Texas, SMU, LSU, Oregon, USC, Tennessee, Miami, Alabama, Colorado, and Oklahoma. Ranked as the No. 23 overall prospect and the No. 4 wide receiver in the 2026 class, Feaster now becomes a primary target for Buckeyes wide receivers coach Brian Hartline, who has a well-established reputation for developing elite talent at the position.
The 6-foot-1, 175-pound standout received his offer from Ohio State on January 29, and his relationship with the Buckeyes is expected to grow significantly in the coming months. Feaster may visit Columbus this spring and could also schedule an official visit this summer.
During the 2023 season, Feaster showcased his immense talent, hauling in 57 receptions for 855 yards and 14 touchdowns. In 2022, he recorded 30 catches for 634 yards and nine touchdowns. With his skill set and Ohio State’s track record of producing elite receivers, the Buckeyes will undoubtedly make a strong push to land Feaster’s commitment.
Buckeyes Extend Offer to Four-Star DE Jackson Ford
Ohio State defensive line coach Larry Johnson has set his sights on another top defensive prospect for the 2026 cycle. On Thursday, four-star defensive end Jackson Ford, a Pennsylvania native, received an offer from the Buckeyes.
Ford, ranked as the No. 292 overall prospect in the 2026 class per 247Sports’ composite rankings, is a highly sought-after recruit. The 6-foot-4, 230-pound pass rusher now holds 18 Division I offers, including those from Michigan, Wisconsin, Boston College, Indiana, Kentucky, Maryland, Michigan State, Minnesota, Penn State, Pittsburgh, USC, Virginia Tech, and West Virginia. Ohio State’s pedigree in developing defensive linemen under Johnson should make the Buckeyes a strong contender for Ford’s services.

Ohio State Offers Five-Star RB Myson Johnson-Cook
The Buckeyes continue their push in the 2027 class with an offer to one of the nation’s top running backs. On Wednesday, five-star prospect Myson Johnson-Cook received an offer from Ohio State running backs coach Carlos Locklyn, becoming the 13th running back in the 2027 cycle to receive an OSU offer.
Johnson-Cook, ranked as the No. 8 overall prospect nationally in the 2027 class, put up impressive numbers last season, rushing for 911 yards on just 88 carries and scoring 14 touchdowns. The 6-foot-1, 220-pound Texas product also showcased his versatility with four receptions for 27 yards and an additional receiving touchdown.
His growing list of 18 Division I offers includes Arizona, Baylor, Duke, Georgia, Illinois, Iowa, Nebraska, Ole Miss, Oregon, Penn State, Purdue, SMU, TCU, Tennessee, Texas A&M, and USC. With Ohio State’s long-standing tradition of elite running back development, Johnson-Cook’s recruitment will be one to watch in the coming years.
As Ohio State continues to build its future rosters, these latest developments highlight the Buckeyes’ relentless pursuit of top-tier talent. With key visits on the horizon and significant recruiting battles ahead, the coming months will be critical in shaping Ohio State’s 2026 and 2027 classes. Buckeye Nation should keep a close eye on these prospects as they inch closer to making their final decisions.
